On 7 and 8 June 2025, an air show recognising 70 years of reconnaissance flying is scheduled at Beale Air Force Base in California.
Working in partnership with our friends at 4Aviation we are pleased to be able to offer their tour taking in the home base of the U-2 Dragon Lady.
Beale is home to the U-2 Dragon Lady fleet, and with the U-2 slated for withdrawal in a couple of years, this is probably the last opportunity to see them at their home base. After visiting the air show, the tour will stay in California and make its way South towards San Diego, visiting several aircraft and aviation locations along the way. Potentially spending time near NAS Lemoore, NAS North Island and Fresno. It will also pass several museums and the CalFire aircraft fleet.
The tour is expected to be around 8 or 9 days duration, starting in San Francisco and ending in San Diego
Registrations of interest are now being taken at present so the operational logistics, transport and accommodation can be fully planned.
A full itinerary and dates will be provided before any booking commitment is required.
We expect the tour to be 8-9 days in duration.
Price information will be made available as soon as we have evaluated the level of interest in this tour.
No payment will be required before tour dates and itinerary are all confirmed.
