An evening on a re-created Battle of Britain Airfield with a replica Hawker Hurricane plus RAF crew.
Join the team from Timeline Events (TLE) as they take you back in time to capture scenes that would have been found on many RAF airfields during the Battle of Britain in 1940. A host of reenactors spread out around the large site will offer plenty of different scenes for you to capture.
The We’ll Meet Again Museum is an award-winning WW2 Homefront Museum in Freiston Shore, near Boston in Lincolnshire. For this photography day, it offers great natural backdrops and plenty of period props, all centred around the Hawker Hurricane airframe.
Many different cameo locations will be available on the day, including a briefing room and an airfield defence tent. The event will also use the amazing replica Hawker Hurricane that was used on the set of the famous 1969 Battle of Britain film.
On the day, it is expected that there will be more than 10 reenactors, each portraying different members of the airfield crew and staff. This is a great opportunity to get historic portraits and working airfield scenes.
More details will be available as the event gets closer...
