The Turkish Air Force intends to host a Spotters Days (as part of the Anatolian Eagle exercise) on Wednesday, July 2nd. Our planned trip runs from the Monday before (June 30th) and includes a visit to the Istanbul Aviation Museum on Tuesday 1st, before an internal flight to Konya and then returning home on Thursday (3rd July).
You can register your interest now. The applications to the Turkish Air Force have to be complete and submitted/booked by 2nd May, so you must move quickly.

Monday 30th June: Flights out from the UK to Istanbul, where we stay overnight.
Tuesday July 1st: Whilst in Istanbul we spend part of today exploring the Istanbul Aviation Museum and viewing examples of every aircraft type used by the Turkish Air Force during its history. Following this visit we then travel back to Istanbul Airport for a short internal flight to the city of Konya. We then board our personal transport to our hotel in the city.
Wednesday 2nd July: Our transport takes us to the Spotters Day at Konya AFB to observe the multinational participants of the Anatolian Eagle Exercise. Once the flying is over for the day, we return on our personal transport to our hotel for a superb social evening.
Thursday, July 3rd: We will transfer from the hotel to Konya Airport, from where we will travel home via Istanbul to the UK. Arriving in the early evening on Thursday.
