Following some serviceability issues with the Hawker Tempest, our original Winter Warbirds night shoot has been rearranged for Saturday, October 11th, 2025.
As we have said previously, this one really caught people's imaginations, and the number of people who registered for the shoot exceeded the capacity for the event.

The P-47 Thunderbolt and Hawker Tempest are legendary WWII aircraft that earned their place in history through power and resilience. The P-47 Thunderbolt, affectionately nicknamed "The Jug," was a workhorse of the Allied forces, known for its rugged durability and devastating firepower. It excelled in both air combat and ground-attack missions, with its robust radial engine allowing it to absorb incredible amounts of damage and return pilots safely home.
A robust airframe and massive Napier Sabre engine ensured the Hawker Tempest excelled as a high-speed, low-altitude interceptor. It famously countered the threat of German V-1 flying bombs and outperformed enemy aircraft like the Focke-Wulf Fw 190. These iconic planes, with their storied pasts and distinctive designs, offer photographers an incredible opportunity to capture the essence of WWII aviation history.
As already highlighted the event has now reached capacity, but you can still add your name to a wait list via the response form below.
